Pozzolengo <\/strong>is called the Gateway of the “Colline Moreniche del Garda<\/strong><\/em>“,<\/h4>\n

Pozzolengo <\/strong>is the last town in the province of Brescia and is the northern gateway to the land of the Colline Moreniche del Garda<\/strong><\/em>. Its hilly terrain, watered by the river Redone, spread inland south of the lake, behind Desenzano del Garda and Sirmione. A major activity is the cultivation of the vine which covered all the hills.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

HISTORY<\/strong> OF POZZOLENGO<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n

These lands have been inhabited since prehistoric times, as confirmed by the discovery of objects made \u200b\u200bof flint in the Abbey of St. Vigilio<\/em>, his first group of houses developed near a refreshment station along the Via Gallica<\/em> between Brescia and Verona, between places Gozza<\/em> and St. Gallo<\/em>, but then moved where there is the church of St. Giuseppe<\/em>.
