For thousands of years around Garda Lake the vines are grown which also modulates the many landscapes of which this land is rich.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>We are at the foot of the Alps, in an environment modified by the glaciers that, in their retreat, have deposited in different places moraines, clay (the famous white clays of<\/span><\/span> Lugana), and the sands, creating an environment that, in a small space<\/span>, ranges from a Mediterranean climate to one of mountain type, with all the variations in between that make Garda viticulture so full of different scents, flavors, colors, flavors, this reserve wine tourists emotions amazing.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>The mirror of Garda Lake combines three Italian regions, Lombardy, Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige, with their culture and their traditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

The climate and soil, the story has contributed to the proliferation of a large number of grapes grown around Lake Garda.<\/span><\/p>\n

As well as countless generations of winemakers have selected over thousands of years what might be the most suitable grapes to grow in that specific terrritory in that particular microclimate, even the powers that over time have dominated these lands, brought from a distance of varieties, <\/span>and here some of them have found a suitable environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

For example, the Marzemino, cultivated both in<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span> Valtenesi Brescia region (here known as Berzamina) and in<\/span><\/span> Vallagarina Trento region,\u00a0 was planted by the Venetians in these places that are probably from the Greek island of Corfu. <\/span>The different climates and soils have given then similar results (the grapes are the same), but also pleasingly different.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>And this is an enjoyment that comes wandering in countless wineries that cover this fortunate land, means to find, in addition to the so-called international varieties, even wines that only born here and are often real history books for those <\/span>has the sensitivity and the desire to read them.<\/span><\/p>\n

The names are words and those of wines and vines evoke their origin (the<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span> Bardolino, the Valpolicella, the Groppello from Moniga, the Lugana),\u00a0 their beauty and melodiousness<\/span><\/span> (the Soave, <\/span>the<\/span> Dindarella, <\/span>the<\/span> Vino Santo of Trento region),\u00a0their characteristics (Chiaretto, the Negrara, the Rossara, Amarone, the Peverella-by pever in Trento region and Veneto dialect means pepper, Nosiola), others tell us about the names of the winds Garda that both help a healthy maturation of <\/span>grapes (Bal\u00ec, Suer, Ora).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>I invite you to discover this historic and beautiful lands of wine, perhaps with the complicity of men and women with their hands and their hearts prepare this liquid which is alive with the wine, starting from their own vineyards cultivated with tenacity, their <\/span>are the true custodians of unique historical and traditional values<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
