Major towns of Garda Lake<\/span> overlooking<\/span> the lake<\/span> are<\/span><\/span><\/span> Desenzano<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, Sirmione<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, Peschiera<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, Lazise<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, Garda<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, Bardolino<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, Malcesine<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, Riva<\/strong><\/a><\/span> and Sal\u00f2<\/strong><\/a><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Some of these<\/span> towns of Garda Lake <\/span>arose<\/span> in Roman times<\/span> as<\/span> a<\/span> fortification<\/span> traffic control<\/span> overlooking the lake and<\/span> later used<\/span> by the Lombards. <\/span><\/span>Expanded and<\/span> reinforced<\/span> in the Middle Ages<\/span> by the Scala family<\/span>, see their<\/span> economic development<\/span> and construction<\/span> with the advent<\/span> of the Serenissima. <\/span>Mostly<\/span> devoted to<\/span> fishing and trade<\/span>, the towns of Garda<\/span> Lake in turn<\/span> have lived<\/span> moments of particular<\/span> economic development<\/span>, lead in time<\/span> to be enriched with<\/span> beautiful churches,<\/span> buildings, squares,<\/span> since<\/span> them look<\/span> small<\/span> towns surrounded<\/span> by several villages and<\/span> districts,<\/span> perched on the<\/span> slopes of the mountains<\/span> or<\/span> in the surrounding countryside<\/span>, to constitute<\/span> the fractions that<\/span> lived on agriculture and<\/span> pastoralism. <\/span><\/span><\/span>The<\/span> urban<\/span> built-up areas<\/span> is irregular,<\/span> dictated by the<\/span> lack of space,<\/span> on land<\/span> often<\/span> made<\/span> \u200b\u200bbetween the mountains and<\/span> the lake<\/span>, the houses were<\/span> built very close<\/span> to the shores<\/span> of Lake<\/span> Garda,<\/span> leaning against each<\/span> other<\/span> with<\/span> narrow streets and<\/span> narrow<\/span>. <\/span>A<\/span> connection<\/span> of the villages<\/span> lake<\/span> there has always been<\/span> the road<\/span> that runs<\/span> Gardesana<\/span> ring<\/span> along<\/span> the lake shore<\/span>, a time interrupted<\/span> in some points with<\/span> deviations<\/span> within<\/span>, now comfortable and<\/span> close to the water<\/span> on the eastern shore<\/span>, and narrow<\/span> in<\/span> galleries<\/span> on the west side<\/span>, and shall convey the<\/span> streets<\/span> who often<\/span> climb the<\/span> slopes of the mountains<\/span> and lead to the<\/span> villages<\/span> located<\/span> inland.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

NORTH GARDA<\/h3>\n

Upper Garda and lower Sarca area<\/h4>\n

The area includes<\/span> the municipalities of<\/span>:<\/span> Riva del Garda<\/span><\/a>\u00a0– Tenno<\/a> –\u00a0Arco<\/span><\/a>\u00a0– Drena<\/a> –\u00a0<\/span>Dr\u00f2<\/span><\/a>\u00a0–\u00a0<\/span>Nago-Torbole<\/span><\/a>; the<\/span> end<\/span> of the Sarca river<\/span> that passes<\/span> from the valley of<\/span> Trentino lakes<\/span> is thrown<\/span> into the lake<\/span> of<\/span> Garda.<\/span> The most<\/span> known is lapped<\/span> by the waters<\/span> of Lake Garda,<\/span> particularly<\/span> frequented by surfers<\/span> and the<\/span> town of<\/span> Riva del<\/span> Garda<\/span> for<\/span> events,<\/span> conferences,<\/span> exhibitions<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
