{"id":17641,"date":"2014-09-07T11:34:04","date_gmt":"2014-09-07T09:34:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/pieve-di-santa-maria-in-carpino-2\/"},"modified":"2018-11-24T14:10:03","modified_gmt":"2018-11-24T13:10:03","slug":"pieve-santa-maria-in-carpino","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/en\/pieve-santa-maria-in-carpino\/","title":{"rendered":"Pieve Santa Maria in Carpino"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Pieve Santa Maria in Carpino is located in the east of the town of Carpenedolo, in the open countryside, between the towns Tezze and Taglie, towards Medole<\/h4>\n<p>Pieve Santa Maria in Carpino it is a building of the IV or VI century but in a simple Romanesque style with an elegant apse in Botticino stone with pilasters and single-lancet windows; the fa\u00e7ade is simple but has part of a fresco, in the masonry there are elements of re-employment with decorations from the high medieval and roman age. The interior is simple, with a single nave covered with a wooden structure and terracotta tiles supported by slightly pointed arches; in the apse there is a fresco of the fifteenth century that is believed to be by Bonifacio Bembo da Cremona;other frescoes depict Jesus enthroned with the Gospel and the four evangelists on the apse, a polyptych the Virgin with Child and little angels, in the choir a Saint Peter.
