{"id":17667,"date":"2014-09-07T11:34:19","date_gmt":"2014-09-07T09:34:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/chiesa-di-santerasmo-2\/"},"modified":"2018-11-22T16:54:04","modified_gmt":"2018-11-22T15:54:04","slug":"church-sant-erasmo-castel-goffredo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/en\/church-sant-erasmo-castel-goffredo\/","title":{"rendered":"Church Sant&#8217;Erasmo Vescovo e Martire"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>The Church Sant&#8217;Erasmo Vescovo e Martire is located in the main square of the town, which overlooks the Municipality and Palazzo Gonzaga-Acerbi.<\/h4>\n<p>Church Sant&#8217;Erasmo Vescovo e Martire is a building that has a late Mannerist facade, divided into two orders and decorated with pilasters and pediment rhythmically five obelisks and three large portals marmo.Una small bell circular accompanies a beautiful lantern with a lantern that rises on the cruise. The interior has a Latin cross divided into three naves by columns of Botticino marble. At the intersection of the nave and the transept rises the dome topped by a lantern that illuminates the center of the temple. In the left aisle is the first chapel is the Baptistery, and the first altar on the shovel (Madonna and Saints), the second altar dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi has a work of Bazzani The souls in purgatory. On the left wall of the transept, above, the organ of the second half of the nineteenth century. On the back wall of the nave left the marble altar of Our Lady of the Rosary which houses a fine altarpiece Madonna polychrome wood. The wooden choir behind the altar on top of which there is the altarpiece of the Martyrdom of St. Erasmus. On either side of the main altar two paintings of the eighteenth century: Moses causes water to gush from the rock and Moses saved from the waters. Work of Joseph Brescia Dicks who is also the author of 12 paintings on columns of the nave and representing the apostles. In the same aisle the beautiful wooden pulpit partially gilded. In the right transept the marble altar of the Blessed Sacrament in whose altarpiece is preserved The Last Supper, on the right wall of the transept is the Chapel of the Crucifix with frescoes whose altar preserves a wooden crucifix in natural grabdezza the fifteenth century. The second altar on the right houses a shovel Virgin with the Child Jesus and the Saints Carlo Borromeo and Sebastian.<\/p>\n<div><a
