Church Santa Maria di Castelnuovo has replaced in the nineteenth century the previous homonym that was of Romanesque invoice and had been erected as a parish in the mid-fifteenth century.<\/h3>\n
Church Santa Maria it is located near the center of the town and attached to the previous passage to the oratory; it was built in the first thirty years of the nineteenth century but consecrated only in 1888; the project is by the Verona-based architect Luigi Trezza with an octagonal plan with a single hall with a central dome covering with eight sails, the fa\u00e7ade is in neo-classical style, the bell tower is that of the previous church. Inside there is an ‘Assumption of Mary on the dome, the apsidal basin is adorned with the Marriage of Mary by P. Pellesina.<\/div>\n
