{"id":17965,"date":"2014-09-07T11:37:01","date_gmt":"2014-09-07T09:37:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/chiesa-della-madonna-degli-angeli-2\/"},"modified":"2018-11-18T04:11:08","modified_gmt":"2018-11-18T03:11:08","slug":"church-madonna-degli-angeli","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/en\/church-madonna-degli-angeli\/","title":{"rendered":"Church Madonna degli Angeli"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>The church Madonna degli Angeli of Castelnuovo del Garda remains on the hill of San Lorenzo, where King Carlo Alberto observed the trap of Peschiera during the wars of independence; in ancient times the locality was the place where the shepherds, during the transhumance, waited to cross the river Mincio.<\/h4>\n<div>Church Madonna degli Angeli it is located a short distance from the church of San Lorenzo of the fourteenth century, is simple lines with the fa\u00e7ade surmounted by a tympanum and the small stone portal is flanked by two windows; inside the building ends with a semicircular apse. Here is a curious picture of the fifteenth century depicting Mary breastfeeding the child bare breasted.
