{"id":17971,"date":"2014-09-07T11:37:04","date_gmt":"2014-09-07T09:37:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/casa-benati-2\/"},"modified":"2018-11-16T22:05:58","modified_gmt":"2018-11-16T21:05:58","slug":"benati-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/en\/benati-house\/","title":{"rendered":"Benati House"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Benati house is located in the hamlet of Oliosi di Castelnuovo, on the road to Salionze, a farmhouse where it is said that, in 1866, forty Italian soldiers resisted the numerous charges of the Austrians.<\/h4>\n<p>Benati House: the forty soldiers, now close to surrender, divided the tricolor flag into forty pieces so as not to deliver it to the enemy and, one each, hid the pieces among their clothes, while the pole was hidden in the chimney.
