{"id":18267,"date":"2014-09-07T11:39:50","date_gmt":"2014-09-07T09:39:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/museo-delle-armi-2\/"},"modified":"2018-10-27T15:12:17","modified_gmt":"2018-10-27T13:12:17","slug":"weapons-museum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/en\/weapons-museum\/","title":{"rendered":"Weapons Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Weapons Museum in Montichiari is located in the former choir of Santa Maria del Suffrage,<\/h4>\n<p>dedicated to the memory of the war fallen ; collects a wide range of artifacts of that time : letters , flags , uniforms, weapons , all these finds were collected from the people of country , Mario Baratti founder of the elementary teacher Agostino Bianchi. The exhibits start from 1796 ( Italian campaign ) through the three wars of independence until the Second World War. In the weapons museum you can admire a statue depicting Italy and remember the sacrifice of the soldiers with the votive lamp , a bronze crown , an anchor and a plaque in memory of the sailors and soldiers who died during the First World War. It is from\u00a0the seventeenth century altarpiece depicting the Virgin of the Suffrage , there are portraits of Garibaldi and Portesi , which was the first monteclarense fell during the Resistance . In the windows we can see a lot of documents and objects , medals, helmets war bulletins , two rifles Swiss Federal mod. 1851 Austrian musket , muzzle-loading guns , and much more .<\/p>\n<div
