{"id":18513,"date":"2014-09-07T11:42:10","date_gmt":"2014-09-07T09:42:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/chiesa-di-s-anna-2\/"},"modified":"2018-10-21T08:33:46","modified_gmt":"2018-10-21T06:33:46","slug":"church-st-anna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/en\/church-st-anna\/","title":{"rendered":"Church St. Anna"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>The Church St. Anna is the one that perhaps most striking tourists, is located at the entrance of just crossed the old drawbridge on the left, leaning against the walls of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/en\/sirmione-castle\/\">castle<\/a>.<\/h4>\n<p>The Church St. Anna is dedicated to yhe Mother of Our Lady arose around 1400, just for the religious service of the garrison of the castle and the population of the nearby area. Today owned by the City is almost always open, even at night, giving even more charm to this beautiful corner of Sirmione. It seems that the first construction dates back to 1300, while in 1400 the vault and in 1600 the venue with a barrel vault. The church has a single nave and one altar, the small sanctuary of the eighteenth century is decorated with stucco that break the harmony of the whole. Votive frescoes by various artists are the first in 1500. On the altar you can see a Madonna painted on stone with the coat of arms of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/en\/scaliger-della-scala-verona\/\">La Scala family<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/chiesa-sant-anna-sirmione-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30218 size-medium\" title=\"Church St. Anna Sirmione
