{"id":21171,"date":"2014-09-08T09:06:38","date_gmt":"2014-09-08T07:06:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/chiesa-di-san-giovanni-battista-10\/"},"modified":"2018-10-16T18:18:56","modified_gmt":"2018-10-16T16:18:56","slug":"church-san-giovanni-battista-lazise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/en\/church-san-giovanni-battista-lazise\/","title":{"rendered":"Church San Giovanni Battista"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>The church is located in Pacengo, built to replace a previous one dating back to before the second decade of the sixteenth century<\/h4>\n<p>Church San Giovanni Battista dates back to 1792 and was designed in neoclassical style by the architect Leonardo Rossi who designed it with the temple fa\u00e7ade, consisting of four half-stones of Ionic style; inside, the church has a single rectangular nave, rhythmic by pilasters and semi-columns of Corinthian order, the paving is in squares of Verona red marble and Botticino marble; there are various paintings by Pio Piatti depicting the Four Evangelists, the Nativity and the frescoes on the Life of John the Baptist.
