Thomas, so dear to D. H. Lawrence who visited it, was originally built in the fourteenth century, the century which still retains traces of frescoes, but was rebuilt later. Dates back to 1535 and the well-preserved fresco of Santa Libera; inside there are three altars, dedicated to St. Thomas, S. And at St. Andrew the Apostle.<br \/>\nNear the church is located a Franciscan convent built in 196, now a seat of the Centre Europ\u00e9en de Rencontre et de resourcing directed by Father Bruno Ducoli.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The church of S.
