Valentino, behind Gargnano, lies the Hermitage destination of many pilgrimages. Reachable from Sasso in 4 minutes or uphill from Gargnano in a couple of hours, offers a beautiful view overlooking Lake Garda.<br \/>\nThis church, in its present structure was built in the mid-seventeenth century as a votive offering, a sign of thanks from some residents escaped the plague in 163.<br \/>\nIts interior walls, which rest directly on the rock, however, date back to the fifteenth century when the site was probably used as a shelter of tools and animals.<br \/>\nAndrea Paladini later received as hermits who lived here and is remembered today as the ROMIT de San Valent\u00ec.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the hill in S.
