The church is the parish church of Pastrengo ; stood on the site of an earlier church and the beginning of its construction dates back to 1711 , when according to a document archive was built the great dome of the altar greater .<\/h4>\n

Church Santa Croce is from the eighteenth century and it houses many paintings , such as oil painting of St. Elena, who worship the cross that are prized above the tabernacle of the main altar , the work of the painter Francesco Lorenzi of Verona. Increasingly Verona school are the ones painted Christ and the adulteress , probably the work of Lonardi , and Casta Susanna before the judges . Worthy of note are the rich paintings on the side of the presbytery , The Invention of the Cross and The sign of the cross that appears in Constantine . The structure includes four hats side , in which are placed the altars . The first on the left is the altarpiece Madonna , Child and St Gaetano of Boscarati , while on the first altar on the right there is a canvas with Saints Louis and Charles, worship of the dead Christ ; most valuable, although not well preserved, it is the altarpiece depicting Madonna and Child with Saints Anthony, George and Joseph likely other work of Francesco Lorenzi .<\/p>\n
