{"id":21487,"date":"2014-09-08T09:09:36","date_gmt":"2014-09-08T07:09:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/forte-monte-folaga-2\/"},"modified":"2018-10-07T22:30:55","modified_gmt":"2018-10-07T20:30:55","slug":"mount-folaga-fort-benedeck","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/en\/mount-folaga-fort-benedeck\/","title":{"rendered":"Mount Folaga Fort Benedeck"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Also called strong Benedeck by the name of the Hungarian commander, it is one of the three Austrian forts built in Pastrengo<\/h4>\n<p>Mount Folaga Fort Benedeck it was completed in 1861 and named after the Hungarian general commander Ludwig von Benedeck, very similar to that of Piovezzano, although its dimensions are smaller. His armament consisted of 15 pieces of artillery of various caliber. With the annexation of Veneto to the Kingdom of Italy a few years later, the fort passed to the Royal Army assuming the name of the mountain on which it stands. Although smaller in size, its structure is very similar to the Dengenfeld fort) and has been well preserved; however, being privately owned, it is not open to the public.<\/p>\n<div
