For centuries, only a steep path had joined the port to the capital leaving Tremosine isolated until 1913, the year in which the road was designed by Arturo Cozzaglio (1862-195) was inaugurated.<br \/>\nConsidered the most beautiful street in the world and defined by Winston Churchill the eighth wonder of the world, this picturesque stretch of road runs along the gorge of the river Brasa, sometimes carved into the rock and sometimes on cliffs overlooking the thrill &#8216;blue Garda.
