{"id":24535,"date":"2014-09-08T09:48:42","date_gmt":"2014-09-08T07:48:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/chiesa-di-san-giorgio-6\/"},"modified":"2017-10-02T08:23:25","modified_gmt":"2017-10-02T06:23:25","slug":"church-san-giorgio-goito","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gardatourism.it\/en\/church-san-giorgio-goito\/","title":{"rendered":"Church San Giorgio Martire"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Church San Giorgio Martire<\/h2>\n<h4>in Cerlongo hamlet of Goito<\/h4>\n<p>Church San Giorgio Martire was built starting in 1753 on the basis of an earlier church standing, its distinctive bell tower, very tall and slender spire with coverage.\u00a0The facade has a Palladian pattern with four halves standing on a base and surmounted by Ionic capitals. The interior has a single aisle with two side chapels, one dedicated to St. Joseph with a canvas from the Veronese school of the eighteenth century depicting the &#8220;death of St. Joseph&#8221; is considered by Gianbettino Cignarolo; one in San Antonio from Padua with a bend of Saint Anthony of the first half of the nineteenth century; a third chapel is named after the Virgin Mary and hosts a statue of Our Lady; The fourth chapel is dedicated to St. Louis and hosts the Pala of the Virgin with St. Louis of the eighteenth century.
