Villa Nichesola Sometti

Villa Nichesola Sometti is located in the village of Chiviel, in the hamlet of  Platano; it is the first of the four noble villas Nichesola you can find arriving from Rivoli, at the head of the entrance arch is marked the date of 1604, but the building is before that date and easily refers to the year of restructuring on the part of the nobles. Inside the maining building the central hall and a ground floor room are frescoed; Next to the main building are a stable, barn and workers’ lodgings. Previously the land was the ancient family of Malaspina that obtained in 1376 by ̷̷Bartolomeo and Antonio della Scala.
