The Cathedral of Castiglione is named after the holy martyrs Nazario and Celso, is imposing with a facade of nearly forty feet in height and width with square Duomo in front as a balcony towards the Pastore park below

Cathedral of Castiglione delle Stiviere is a example of the transition from Baroque to Neoclassicism, even within the dimensions are large, with simple lines and grandiose, with three naves divided by large pillars. Here, in 1568, and Marta Tana Ferrante Gonzaga were baptized by Cardinal Carlo Borromeo St. Louis and the eldest is hosted here is a relic of the saint that the remains of Marta Tana. In 167 the Cathedral was named Collegiate and garrison Abbot thanks to the services of Francesco Gonzaga to the Holy See. In 1762 the building was rebuilt and enlarged by using the remains of the castle destroyed in 176 by the passage of the French troops of Napoleon.
