Church of Morti della Selva

The church of Morti della Selva rises along the road that leads from Padenghe to Bedizzole, in what was once the “forest” north of Drugolo, was built in the perimeter where there was a hospital that until 1445 received the plague victims of Drugolo and of Padenghe.

Church of Morti della Selva it was later always by the Averoldi family used as a cemetery for the same plagues of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, subsequently, in 1723 the church, thanks again to the Averoldi family, was rebuilt with the current lines. There are still various votive offerings, a stele with a cross from 1854 and a second cross from 1888.
