Church St.Maria Assunta is the parish church in the village of Solarolo; Its construction dates back to 1746, designed by Antonio Spazzi and replaced the “Pieve Vecchia” as a parish. Large building with a majestic baroque facade with a bell tower on the eastern side of the building; Inside a polychrome marble altar, one of the six half-chapels on the side houses the altar at S.Luigi Gonzaga, the nave is covered with a barrel vault with frescoes, a chorus entirely made of wood, remarkable canvases depicting Sant ‘ Angela Merici and Assumption of Andrea Celesti.
