Church S.Maria del Suffragio

For the construction of the church S.Maria del Suffragio the round stones of the river Chiese were used, it is located near the Risorgimento museum and its works began in the year 1659.

Church S.Maria del Suffragio it is imposing and has two main bodies, the choir and the nave, which are connected to each other by the presbytery, on which years later the bell tower was built. The nave has a gabled roof, while the choir has nine symmetrical windows and a pyramid roof. During the First World War the church was deconsecrated and used as a military warehouse and shelter for soldiers. In 1944 he resumed his religious services.
