Villa Quaranta in Ospedaletto was built in the 17th century and restored in the eighteenth and early twentieth centuries. It was the emperor Alexander of Russia where he was in 1822 when he came to Verona for the congress of the Holy Alliance. The building has very simple architectural lines, the façade is marked by a three-arched loggia and windows with first-style baroque frames. The main building of the building overlooks an Italian garden, rustic furnishings and porches. Located on the back were once housed by workers and formed a courtyard with a well in the center that served as a tank for rainwater. Noteworthy about the exquisite interior decoration, walls and ceilings are richly decorated with frescoes, some attributed to Paolo Ligozzi. Probably Romanesque origin is the Church of the Purification of Mary, which is always part of the villa, with a square bell tower and a double bell tower, where there is still a sundial. Inside there are frescos attributed to the Ligozzi.
