Church Madonna della neve was built in the 17th century in the Malga Ortigara locality by the Carlotti family to escape the plague of 1630 when, with the servitude, they moved for two years with large amounts of provisions and as summer residence later on; In the decades to follow, pilgrims from the lake came to the sanctuary of the Crown. On the 5th of August each year is celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Snow.
