Church San Bartolomeo is located in the village of Vasto, once swampy and unhealthy area that gave the name “Guasto” (fault) to the locality until 1600. The documents of the church speak of the consecration of the first church and the cemetery next door in 1470, while the bell tower was built in 1621, damaged in 1685 and in 1700 due to the wars.
