The territory of Lake Garda north can be divided into four different zones between them, the Ledro Valley, Upper Garda and Lower Sarca, Val Gresta and Vallagarina.
If Vallagarina land connection between plains and mountains, is characterized by strong cultural vitality of its cities, to the untouched landscapes, prosperous vineyards and medieval castles, the Ledro Valley, protected by high mountains that surround it, is characterized by the peculiarity of the flora and fauna, rich in thick woods. Renowned for its vegetation is also the val Gresta, considered the organic garden of the lake, whilst the mountains and valleys of the Upper Garda and Basso Sarca lend themselves to hiking as well as beautiful bike paths through hills and castles.
