Gargnano
Via del perdono, 25084 Gargnano Bs

Nestled high in the small town called Sasso, stands the church of St. Antonio Abate. It probably dates back to the seventeenth century and was built on the ruins of an earlier chapel of 11. Originally considered to be dependent on the Church of Martino di Gargnano, conquers the dignity parish in 1646. It hosts three altars: the altar is dedicated to the patron Saint Anthony Abbot, of which we find a statue, dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary and a third that commemorates the Last Supper through a fine eighteenth-century painting by Stefano Celestial.
The churchyard is ideally situated in a privileged position in order to benefit from there a marvelous view overlooking the lake.
