The church Madonna degli Angeli of Castelnuovo del Garda remains on the hill of San Lorenzo, where King Carlo Alberto observed the trap of Peschiera during the wars of independence; in ancient times the locality was the place where the shepherds, during the transhumance, waited to cross the river Mincio.
Church Madonna degli Angeli it is located a short distance from the church of San Lorenzo of the fourteenth century, is simple lines with the façade surmounted by a tympanum and the small stone portal is flanked by two windows; inside the building ends with a semicircular apse. Here is a curious picture of the fifteenth century depicting Mary breastfeeding the child bare breasted. The church is the symbol of the village and can be seen from the many votive offerings that can be seen on the walls.
