Church S.Maria Maggiore

Church S.Maria Maggiore is the parish church of goat stands on a previous Romanesque church, which left very little, its construction took a long time, began in 1767 and lasted about twenty years, was built with the offerings of the local population. The red and white marble facade comes from Lubiara. Inside, the floor is made of marble of various colors, the fonts are Antonio Tinelli Montecchio while Bartolomeo Zeni are the two paintings of the ‘Assumption and Coronation of the Virgin and the four Doctors of the presbytery. There are six altars, one in Baroque style with multicolored marbles, one black marble Varena, one in white Carrara marble, one is greater and the last is in the Baroque style of fine workmanship, the first half of the 7 , then there are the statues of saints that are dedicated to various churches in the area, S. Isidoro (Rivoli), S. Gallo (Pesina), S. Vigil (Brentino), S. James (Rivalta), S. Catherine (Ferrara di Monte Baldo), S. Vito (Pazzon), S. Luke (Incanale), S. John the Baptist (Belluno and Lubiara).
