The Church San Antonio Abate is originally from the fourteenth century but after 1339, the year in which the walls were built against which it is placed.

The Church San Antonio Abate It is mentioned for the first time during the pastoral visit of the Bishop of Verona Gian Matteo Giberti in 1530 and is totally rebuilt between 1590 and 1601 using as a basis the pre-existing building that was in bad condition and was used for this purpose only once year on the feast of the saint. The reconstruction took place at a time when epidemics were raging, the fact that on the site there was an ossuary and that the saint was seen as a protector, he got the help needed to complete the work. In 1675 it was entrusted to the Confraternity of Suffrage, who carried out subsequent works of completion, the choir and the chapel dedicated to Santa Maria del Suffragio on the left side. The confraternity was suppressed in 1797 and became, with other possessions owned by Senator Ugo da Como.
