Church San Nicola da Bari

Church San Nicola, built around the XI-XII century by pope Adriano IV. Very different from today was the same as many other chapels in Romanesque façade with a single nave and a semicircular apse. In the modern age was restored with window and door in Gothic Revival style. Within two Gothic arches of the fifteenth century is a single nave that shrinks the height of the bell tower in rectangular choir. Here we see the altar and the altarpiece depicting the sixteenth century with the Virgin and Child with Saints Nicholas and Anthony Abbot. There is a second altar erected in the eighteenth century in honor of St. Francis, who has an altarpiece depicting St. Francis receiving the stigmata.
