Ponti sul Mincio

The Mincio River, part of the natural park, originates from Lake Garda, about 75 km long starts its journey from Peschiera del Garda passing from Ponti sul Mincio, Monzambano, Valeggio, Gonzaga, Goito, Rivalta and Mantua, where form three lakes.

In the stretch of river that crosses the river Bridges is integrated in a water system designed to distribute the flow of the river into a network of channels that are intended for different functions, artificial embankments and channeled into narrow valleys between the moraine you can see many stores marshy and peaty. A Bridges the morainic arch most important is called Monte della Guardia which overlooks two small bogs that are well preserved and rich in vegetation
