Monte Castelon

Between the valleys of Marano and Fumane stands the Monte Castelon. Strategic location and attractive site for human settlements ranging from prehistoric to medieval times. Here have been found important archaeological sites, including the Scaliger castle to which the name refers to Castelo, on which it is the church of Santa Maria della Valverde, the castle of Marano and the remains of the Temple of Minerva.
