località San Vigilio, 37016 Garda Vr

Punta San Vigilio is the small peninsula to the north of the Gulf of Garda, is owned by Count Guarienti and takes its name from St. Vigil Bishop of Trento, who lived in the fourth century and died as a martyr in Val Rendena.

In Punta San Vigilio, in addition to villa Guarienti, there is a small church, a marina and the Bay of the Sirens. The villa and the church building were made in 154 by Agostino Brenzoni, designed by Sanmicheli. Punta San Vigilio was often visited by famous people such as Marie Louise Duchess of Parma, the Emperor Alexander of Russia, the King of Naples, Winston Churchill, Laurence Olivier, Vivien Leight and Prince Charles of England.
