Church S.Maria di Navene is a small church of relative importance which is located in a large valley surrounded by forests to 5 kilometers from the village. It has a nave that is covered dall’imbotte that comes from the cornice supported by two pilasters and flanked by two small chapels. The Baroque altar has two big smooth columns and two smaller spiral. A fresco which depicts Mary. sitting in the air with the child in his arms while below you can see St. Sebastian and St. Roch. Marble are the altars of the chapels, one is contained in a canvas that depicts St. Francesca Romana receiving the rule from S. Benedict, while the other depicts the Madonna del Carmine, perhaps on the ground S. Joseph and St. Eurosia. It has a simple facade with rectangular door and a half-round window at the top and three steps outside. There is still the cemetery. Here the mass is celebrated on Sunday, when the priests are free.
