At the end of June will take place the annual edition of the Race of Olympic triathlon which takes place in Sirmione:
swimming, cycling, running, an event that already in the past year has seen excellent results of interest from the general public, thanks largely to the winning combination given by the location of Sirmione and by the very high level of technical preparation of the event. Garmin Trio Sirmione will be organized on three tests
– Swimming (1.5km): The route begins in the town center, at the "beach of the priest," follows a rectangular trajectory, passing under the drawbridge of the castle and across the harbor to the finish line on the lungolagoA. Diaz.
– Cycling (4 km): The path comes from Sirmione to reach Pozzolengo, to the moraine hills on a circuit full of ups and downs; Sirmione to return to the transition area will be located at the Port of Sirmione Colombare 2. The entire course is controlled by a high number of volunteers
– Race (1 km): The path runs along almost the entire peninsula of Sirmione, Sirmione from Port 2 to Port Piazzale under the Scaliger Castle, the circuit must be done three times the length plus a half to reach the post of arrival .
