Cavedine is located in the center of Cavedine Valley, a small valley that runs parallel to the valley of lakes, of which it is part. The municipality is composed of five villages, but is the capital to be known for its squares and blocks of architectural value, so that in the Middle Ages the bishop’s palace, the castle of Madruzzo, the monastery of San Lorenzo in Trento and various noble boasted property on site.
