Monte Tombea-Caplone

With its 1976-Caplone Tombea mountain is the highest in the Alto Garda Bresciano Park. At the time of the First World War were built fortifications for miles, with trenches, caves, gun emplacements and artillery, thus creating a second line of defense before the Po Valley. From the first of the ‘nineteenth century, the mountain is known for its endemic flora, recalling various scholars of botany.
