Dominating the whole country is the Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette, that stands out from the hill Engraved nestled in the pines. First built as a votive offering to the Virgin Mary in 1864 as a result of the vineyards of Fumane threatening disease, is a place very dear to the inhabitants. He was a monk who invited the peasants in the construction of small sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary appeared in a country of France. And indeed, the disease was later eradicated.
