House Franceschi

Characteristic architectural elements of the XV-XVI-XVII centuries that are found along the buildings of the historical center of what was the capital of the Magnifica Patria

House Franceschi: (XVII century) Strict architecture in the facade with well-spaced windows and double-groove portal. The window frames on the three floors are also elegant with their small shelves still in Renaissance style. Roof eaves with a strong overhang. In the courtyard, after a short portico with lightly rusticated square pillars, it is interesting the large wrought iron balcony that runs on all four sides (it is said that both the copy and that the original was taken to the nearby Rimbalzello !). All the windows have strange baroque decorations in stucco, only on the south side there is a sort of three-light window with full-arched arches and balustrades. It is undergoing restoration.
